This was one of the first macaron flavors we produced at Belle…Matcha Cocoa…created with Green Tea Matcha and Chocolate shell. For Matcha lovers it was a true to flavor: slightly bitter nuttiness and the cocoa added a nice layer of flavor complexity.

I would say within the first few weeks of opening someone reviewed this mac and said it tasted like burnt plastic…whaaaaat 🤤

Well as we approach St. Patrick’s Day and look for natural green foods (we have a FAB green apple planned on the doughnut side) we will drop Matcha back into the case and hope for the best!
